The Planning Committee is working on coming up with a jam-packed slate of activities. We are going to repeat some of the greatest hits from Letchfest (film screenings, square dancing, talent show), but are also looking for new things that suit West Virginia. Do you have any ideas of things you would like to do? And how busy do you want to be kept?

Is there a swimming hole?

Yes, there is a swimming hole! A calmish river flows under an old train bridge, and there are flat rocks on the bank that would be suitable for sunbathing and picnicking.

I'm curious as to who is planning on doing something for the talent show. I was going to bring a guitar (probably acoustic) and my voice in the hopes of hooking up with some other musicians/performers. Is anybody in need of some guitaring, etc for their act? Or maybe we can dream up something together. Let me know. Greg

I'm thinking of bringing my trumpet. I have no idea what to do with it yet, but can offer it for talent show activities. I am a barely competent player however so a Dizzy Gillespie song or something will leave us all let down.

Great. I was thinking that given there will be guitars, banjos, accordions, ukes, and now a trumpet - there might be an opportunity for an impromptu band parade on the 4th.
All ya'll - bring your instruments!
